Telangana Tahsildars demand resolution of outstanding issues

Hyderabad:The Telangana Tahsildars Association (TGTA) has strived to resolve the outstanding issues and speed up their promotions. They demanded immediate repatriation of employees who were transferred from their home constituencies during the Lok Sabha elections in May.

In a meeting held at the office of the CCLA (Chief Commissioner of Land Administration), the TGTA expressed satisfaction over the promotion of 33 Deputy Collectors from Special Level to Selective Level and Senior Assistants to Deputy Tahsildars. He also sought clarity regarding promotions in the Charminar zone.

The TGTA state executive meeting was attended by association president S. Ramulu and general secretary Pulsingh Chouhan, treasurer Srinivas Sankar Rao and women’s wing president Radha.

Other demands put forward were payment of current vehicle bills, an increase in the fee for hired cars from 33,000 to 50,000 and measures to stop attacks on tax inspectors.
