On Friday, November 29, the 64-year-old Food Network alum revealed she recently suffered an injury from a fall, which she said is a common occurrence.

“I still have the knees of a 9-year-old because I fall too often than is comfortable for someone my actual age,” Bertinelli wrote on her Instagram Stories, sharing a selfie in which she made a goofy face and showed off a large bandage. , placed just below one of her knees.

Bertinelli’s post about the knee injury comes shortly after she opened up about another aspect of her health on social media.

Alongside a video of her shaking hands, the star prefaced her post by writing: “I’ve been sitting on this post all day because it’s incredibly vulnerable and it’s always scary to share. But I write because we’re all here doing our best to have a human experience, and none of us want to feel like we’re alone in this. 🤍V.”

After taking a “deep breath,” Bertinelli began by revealing that she had a “really bad panic attack,” as evidenced in the clip. She also noted that her “heart is still beating a little faster as I write this.”

“I haven’t had this in a very, very long time,” the star continued. “A few hours ago I was crying uncontrollably and my heart felt like it was jumping out of my chest. I couldn’t stop shaking.”

Bertinelli detailed that she decided to share her experience because “I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one here who has experienced this.”

“Fortunately, these attacks have become much less frequent, so today it took me by surprise. These are the consequences,” she added.

When Bertinelli experiences panic attacks, she says she “almost dissociates” and focuses “solely on calming down and finding some way to a more relaxed and peaceful body” because she knows it is the result of “overthinking of the brain and catastrophes, but my body goes into overdrive and I can’t control it.”

The star concluded her post by saying she was “fascinated by what the human body is capable of” and asked her fans how they cope with such experiences.
