Jamahal Hill threatens Alex Pereira with cold

Jamahal Hill continues to deny the legitimacy of his knockout loss to Alex Pereira.

Their light heavyweight bout at UFC 300 lasted less than a round when Pereira landed his patented left hook to put “Sweet Dreams” to sleep. However, given the recent online drama between the UFC’s light heavyweight elite, Hill was quick to add an asterisk next to this loss.

Light heavyweight champion Pereira mocked Hill in a Nov. 29 post, calling him his “son” and offering him a second chance if he beat Jiri Prochazka at UFC 311, which Hill didn’t take lightly.

“…It’s funny how you attacked little Rowntree and stupid Jiri like you were a man but waited until the referee stopped me from swinging!!!” Hill replied to X. “You will see me again soon 100 percent and we both know what fear was in your heart!!”

At UFC 300, Hill’s groin kick led to a break late in the first round. Referee Herb Dean stepped in to stop play, but Poatan waved him off. Contrary to Hill’s comments, the two fighters touched gloves and Hill threw the first punch with a right hand just before being caught by a left hook.

Hill will fight Prochaska in the co-main event of UFC 311 in December. Pereira’s next fight has not yet been announced, but rumors say it will be against Magomed Ankalaev.
